I loved that game on my SNES. I wonder if anyone else would like to see this game - an updated version - on the Wii.

What, son, what? New York, New York!!!

Legend was that that was what Factor 5 was working on.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
God, I hope so. That game was great.
Edit: Actually, thinking about Pilotwings Wii, it's pretty interesting to notice all the games they put in Wii Sports Resort. While most of them were normal beach vacation games, some obviously stood out as weird, namely Air Sports, Archery, and Swordfighting. Could this have been Nintendo highers ups testing the waters to see if people would actually like a flying game and a WM+ Zelda? I don't know.
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

I don't believe it's likely. They may have started with the idea of Pilot Wings being on the Wii but I believe that was changed to the long forgotten Wii Motor Sports which eventually became a part of Wii Sports Resort. With WSR doing many of the things that PW would have done, it would create too much of an overlap.
Also, I don't get why Factor 5 would make a Pilotwings game, so that rumor doesn't make much sense to me. Pilotwings isn't the sort of game you assign to a team known for top notch graphics. It simply doesn't need them, and the audience that it would sell best to isn't all that interested in them. PW really is a casual's game, it just needed a better name to sell it.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
There was a rumour a year ago or so....so hopefully.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I'd love if it were so.
Tbh, I'm not sure why Nintendo hasn't bothered releasing a new Pilot Wings, WaveRace, Mario Golf, or Mario Tennis for the Wii yet. All of these would benefit greatly from the Wii's controls.
By this point in the GameCube's life, we had gotten three out of four of those. =(
It stands to reason, as Nintendo has been pulling from the vault as of late.
N64 Pilot wings was my fave of the two. Nintendo promised one would come when Cube launched and since not a word.
There is no game better than Pilot Wings to please both core fans and casuals at the same time plus show off motion controls.
this would be a great oppurtunity for ninntendo because wii needs a ful filght type game and it is a great way to show off wii motion plus. also it would sell pretty good considering it was a really good title and was a good franchise so its like a traditional game that show off wii motion plus and sells good cause it appeals to all audience
