Are we going to have this exact same thread again?

It seems we are. Remember the only measurement to how much a company loves the Wii is graphics, not whether the game actually works or not.

name me 5 classic arcade racing games that got ports this gen and didn't feel extremely dated and dissapointing - there were none and that's the main problem here.

it would be okay if they would port 2008 version since they released it on psn cause they've changed many things to make it more accesible and simillar to newer arcade racing games, but this will be just archaic, outdated and bizzare game and you will still have to pay 50$ for it. i'd rather pay 50$ for NFS Nitro that looks like Ridge Racer than for 13 year old game. only few arcade games/classics that were great in the past are still fun
, but most of them looks boring, outdated or just broken.

It IS the 2008 version.

1. GTI Club - Rally Cote D'azur (1996)
2. GTI Club - Corso Italiano (2000)
3. GTI Club - Super Mini Festa (2008)

GT Club+ is the PSN remake of Rally Cote D'azur.
This game for Wii is Supermini Festa.

Like I said, we're doing the same damn thread all over again.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

This gem runs on a console 1/4 of the power of Wii

Perhaps there just isn't a market for racing games on Wii...

how many times do i have to say this? Wii is getting Rally Cote D'azur port while ps3 got Super Mini Festa port - just look at gameplay videos of arcade version of this game. all of the games have the same cars and tracks the difference is in graphics and subtitles.

This game graphically looks bad. Seriously developers it's got more power than an XBox. Can you developers at least give XBox graphics? I can understand the cash in model of business, but seriously.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

You do realise it is you that has it backwards, don't you?

The PSN release was a remake of the original.

Nice one Viper. Plus it points out the the PS3 got better GFX. Dunno why that other kid wants to cut it slack for being an arcade port.

screw the haters, online car soccer is going to be awesome

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

lol, sorta reminds me of Beetle Adventure racing on the N64, I loved that game so much! looks fun, I'll keep my eye on this.
