Yes. An arcade game from 1996. There is simply no excuse for it to look the way it does.

Looks bloody terrible. There's absolutely no excuse for having crap looking graphics on a Wii game now. This will fail miserably when you have games such as Cursed Mountain, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Dead Space Extraction, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles, Gladiator AD and The Grinder on the way. The eye candy bar has been raised. Call of Duty Modern Warfare will also fail miserably if they don't improve the visuals drastically.

It seems we are. Remember the only measurement to how much a company loves the Wii is graphics, not whether the game actually works or not.

name me 5 classic arcade racing games that got ports this gen and didn't feel extremely dated and dissapointing - there were none and that's the main problem here.

it would be okay if they would port 2008 version since they released it on psn cause they've changed many things to make it more accesible and simillar to newer arcade racing games, but this will be just archaic, outdated and bizzare game and you will still have to pay 50$ for it. i'd rather pay 50$ for NFS Nitro that looks like Ridge Racer than for 13 year old game. only few arcade games/classics that were great in the past are still fun

You'll have to clarify. I'm reading two possible questions from that.

And since this is a port from the arcades, there is no point in complaining about the graphics. If it was an enhanced remake, I would expect greater graphics.
