Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo publishing Sonic Rush Adventure in Korea

Nintendo of Korea is handling Sonic Rush Adventure similar to how Nintendo handles the Professor Layton games outside of Japan. They’re going to market the game as if it was a Nintendo title, which is unusual considering Sega of Korea exists.

Oh how things differ as the years go by. I couldn't help but smile and laugh as i stumbled accross this article. Not relatively important news i know but i thought a small thread about it would be ok. How close are Nintendo and Sega i wonder, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is one thing, but i don't think anyone expected this.

How technical is your game?

Sometimes I miss the 16 bit era.
Nintendo vs Sega.

Sony helped develop the SNES hardware(still to this day an amazing sound chip)
Genesis does what Nintendon't (best marketing ever) Now we have Nintendo Publishing Sega games and Sonic and Mario in games together.

Still seems odd for me.

I guess this means Nintendo won the 16 bit era completely now..

I guess that ninty had already won back then but they win again.

We've had Sega making a game with Mario. This can't be much weirder than that.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Nintendo helping Sega do anything sounds good to me.

Maybe next they can develop a Sonic game instead of publish one.............just wishful thinking lol

It's like Sega has been using Nintendo to try to make Sonic on top of the world again.
First it was Super Smash Bros. Brawl, then it was Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, then Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games, now it's this.

Seems to me that Sega has finally found a way to make Sonic popular again, and it's using Nintendo's name.

Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.
