Talk about unrealistic. 4th gear into a wall.... and it still drives.

He had selected only cosmetic damage.

what? No, that can't be it. It's got to be unrealistic. If it were realistic then there would be no option for this.

If it was really realistic, the car would stop driving.....period. They're not gonna do that obivously because no driving game these days does that.

Poor choice of wording in my post. They said that the game would decelerate for you so does that mean you would just hold down one button all through the race and all you'd have to do would be steer? On second thought, perhaps it not all that different from playing a FPS which has a large aiming assist.

there is no such thing.

Ermm.. please enlighten me as I am fairly sure deceleration does exist?

Well the car auto brakes (decelerates), not the game.

Basically you're right, just hold the gas and steer. The car will auto brake for you.

The graphics do look good but I couldn't help but laugh at those new features. You can have it so that not only does the game do the breaking for you but if you still manage to make a mistake you can just 'rewind' and avoid the accident?!! I suppose it's ok as you don't have to play with those options but seriously, how easy do some people want their games?

People do not use brakes when driving in a video game.

Physics says otherwise. There is slowing down. That works... but there is no decelerate.

Just edited my previous post. Technically it is negative acceleration but deceleration is the common term for that occurance.

So... by decelerating you are just sitting still not moving? Sounds like an awful game.

No such thing as negative acceleration. The closest thing of accomplishing that feat would be staying completely still. Not even a twich.

Damn it Pullus, impersonating poor banned selnor.

And you chose videos that weren't even good. It looked almost like Forza 2 in those clips.

If I ever get a 360, this will definitely be one of the first games I pick up for it. It really looks great, I think it will give GT 5 a run for it's money.

Ok I think this is geeting a little pedantic. The rate at which an object loses speed can be measured as deceleration. Hence in Forza 3, the game will cause your car to decelerate (slow down at a rate of 'x' m/s at any given time) when it needs to.

It looks great, but I am disapointed with the rewind function...why would you even add that?

Negative. Acceleration is the change of velocity. So slowing down is acceleration. changing lanes at the same speed is acceleration.
