I chose Gordon Freeman, not because I'm a Xbox fanboy, or a PC fanboy, but because I thought that GF was more unique, while MC was an character in a overused occupation (Space Marine) and look (Helmet looks like Doom guy's, armor isn't specially unique, just the helmet really that gave him an iconic look).

Actually it has in the novels, when the Spartans were training on Reach. Theres a reason why MC is the leader of the Spartans, you would understand if you read the novels, he truly is a demon when it comes to war. Looking over the pic again that is actually the MC its just that the lighting is weird making the armour look silver.

The reason I mentioned Sony was because Sony fanboys are usually anti-MS and seeing how Halo is pretty much the symbol for MS in the gaming world Sony fanboys are anti-Halo and hence will always vote against the MC.

I'm arguing that it's absurd for you to come to such a conclusion, when it could easily be said the same thing if MC was being voted for. Both are big, and both are iconic. For you to think that MC is so above and beyond Gordon Freeman in leagues is absurd. You really underestimated GF IMO and overestimated MC.
