Forums - Sony - Dissidia: Final Fantasy GT and GS Reviews!

GameTrailers.

GameSpot.

Credit where Credit is due ... the first few NA reviews sucked imo like from Eurogamer and two others, but after IGN's decent review of the game it got even better with GT and GS.

Enjoy everyone!\

Oh but i must say i do like GameTrailers one the best out of all the official video reviews so far, there reviewer guy just does an awesome job and to the point. real good stuff.

I prefer IGN's reviews, i don't like GS at all. The game looks great in every way.

treid the full game and the demo - it's big and really well done but, not even fun to play. camera is terrible, controls are meh at best and gameplay itself feel more like a chore than fun. some of the fights i had to retry over and over and over again thanks to the camera and sloppy fighting style. i played on Hardcore difficulty so maybe it would change on Casual or Average ones but still when the game is difficulty thanks to broken aspects of the game itself then something is definitely wrong(and no game isn't even hard in the Hardcore mode and i'm not even huge fighting games freak).

so congratulations for trying something different Square Enix but better stay with jrpgs.

gamespot gave it 8.5\10

i already bought it =).
on release day thanks sony!

No offense to people who like it, but I have no idea how this is getting good scores. The game makes no sense and as a previous poster said, camera and controls are terrible. If you're wondering what I mean by "makes no sense", one player can hit the other player 200 times while the other player hits the first place thrice and still, the other player will win. The game is beyond confusing and I believe it's getting scores on brand name alone.

But if you're enjoying the game, good for you. I have no idea how, but that doesn't really matter.

i think GT and GS gave alittle to much away story wise

Thanks for that.

OT: Great, I'm buying this game and these good reviews are only making the purchase easier.

its better than brawl in that, in brawl u can be 160% and the other 110% and but if 110% bad luck its flies to death

for dissidia, bravery it's like defense, higher the bravery higher the  damage with square attacks.

if u break enemy bravery (theiir bravery = 0 done with circle attacks), u get a boost on ur bravery,

anything you do to square attacks translates into damage, bravery goes to 0 after that and you are weak an attack.

bravery will go back to your default bravery after some seconds.

EX mode deals tons of bravery damage and then finish it with HP damage.

Idk what so many complaints are about. The battle system isnt even complicated. Build brave with circle attacks, unleash HP attacks with square. The amount of bravery you have is the amount of damage you do with square. It's as simple as that.
