If I wanted to crash I'd buy Burnout, the arcade racing game. GT5 is a driving simulation.

Hmm, pie.

It's unfinished, confirmed here.

i didn't say it was finished. everything is unfinished before it releases. saying "it's unfinished" doesn't mean "there's going to be a revolution". there'll be tweaks and adjustments, but there won't be anything that isn't there already.

seriously, you're thinking that because "it's unfinished", it's going to change dramatically? if it were finished, they would already be releasing the thing.

that interview is like saying "lighting is electricity". we know it's unfinished. that's why it isn't on sale yet. sheez.

@bugrimmar

what the hell are you complaining about now, them saying its "unfinished"

ofcourse it is, they will improve it in time for release they have 3 full months to do so

Bugrimmar, in the GT5 E3 video a car crashed and was viewed on camera. It had scratches and paint deformation. The Gamescom build highly speculated to be an old build that is missing  updated Damage technology that is currently in the game.

Just sit back and chill until TGS, then you can bitch about whatever you want. Right now we basically know next to nothing about what damage features, if any at all, will be different in the final build from the Gamescom build. I think that this thread was a little pre-mature (ejaculation) on your part.

Feel free to add me as your friend-PSN ID: Bobo012893

1.) dents and scratches. (see below)

2.) people who played the demo said the car couldn't go after 4th gear after a couple crashes.

3.) yes.

This. I honestly don't care if the game has damage or not. I've bought all 4 previous games and I could not care less about them not having damage. The point of the game is to make you feel like youre ctually driving the vehicle, not how you feel when you crash it

on topic: Yea its a bit disapointing that its only a select amount of cars having damage, but I bet you that PD won't just let it stay the same, so just wait for the announcements loser to launch

Depends on the improvements....

Can I use cockpit view?
Can we throw some bots into the game?

Pure 1 on 1 with no cockpit in GT5p was kinda lame...
