I'd never trade it any of my systems, and there's too many games coming out for the 360 and Wii in the near future to warrant a purchase of the PS3 slim which basically has the same library as the 360 coming out minus GoW3 and Uncharted 2, neither of which I really care about.

The one disc argument is not valid.  We've been playing games on multiple discs for a decade or more.

I will give the PS3 for its reliablility, but at least Microsoft gave the system a 3 year warranty to help out.

Free Online - Nice.  But it's not as decent as Xbox LIVE.  Many games on the PS3 have had a rocky online experience, including fat princess.  Just because it's free doesn't mean it's quality. 

GT5 = Forza series

God of War is an amazing game.  But it's only one game.  Microsoft has quite a few awesome games too.  Gears of War, Fable to list a couple.

It will happen, but there wont be floods of people doing this! At GAME or gamestation (can't remember) today they had a trade in sign saying trade in xbox 360, and then whatever model it was, and how much it took off the price of the slim, I only know of one friend who is doing this, and that's because he has an elite and the arcade

And you know this because you've played both?  Because your dad works for Microsoft and you've played it?

Forza 3 and GT5 both look like great games, on par with each other.  I will say though that GT has been going down hill since the 3rd installment.  Loved the first 2.

Definitive Racing = Marketing.

And yes, it is a great simulator racing game and so is Forza.

And marketing does not equal quality.
