There really is no going wrong here. As long as you buy a console new, PS3 or 360, from a respectable place, you'll be getting a new and, with the exception of the slim, proven chipset on a console that could rival most throughout history.

If you are also interested in BR, then PS3 is for you.

Well can I ask you guys one thing, what blue tooth headset and HDMI do you reccomend? The last thing I want is to be stuck without something to talk with and watch HD on. At best buy today this guy was selling me a wire for 60 bucks!!

I just paid 2000 dollars for my LN52B750(Best conventional LCD ever made, imh, and CNets humble opinion), and the G10's 50 inchers were going for about 1500(I skipped because of burnin, and phosphor trailing). I'm very happy with it.

Yeah its 1080p. My brother found some crazy deal, where it was the last model, and than we opened up a Target gift card. The cash register person was in disbelief.

Where do you live? USA go with 360. Elsewhere go with PS3.

I think the official bluetooth headset from Sony is good. I don't know about HDMI cables...there's a lot of them and you can't really be sure if they are good or cheap.

I live in the USA, and this is also dumb reasoning too.  I agree with the guys above, the ones with the more games is the one i'll get.  I know the 360 has superior online, but man, thats just racist.

Why so? US is probably the best country for the PS3 other than Japan.

The 360 for online, shooters, rpgs.
Ps3 for more mature adult titles.
