the wii is as mall as you can get before it starts looking fragile, any smaller and it would have a top loading disc drive and be about the size of an old video tape, it'll look almost like a DS phat at that stage.

The DS had some practical design issues, like the screen and being top heavy. The PSP had some issues they were incrementally working on. The PS3 was expensive. Thus they had reasons for redesigning. For Wii, the system itself is not an issue.

A redesign with a Matte finish and more RAM instead of a glossy finish. And a bit more curves around the edges with better hardware and a 120 GB harddrive would be very nice.
