It has been out in Japan for almost a year, so the length of localization can drag someone's interest down to a standstill.
It will probably sell only 100k max in Americas, and I doubt VGC will even track this game in Others.
On a different note, I think it took 2 years for Pokemon to come to America from Japan. I could imagine how bad it must've stunk for anyone outside of Japan who was anticipating it back then.
