Forums - Nintendo - Hardcore "beleive" Nintendo will lose. We laugh

Nintendo needs to drop the price to $200, new colors, and hurry up with the next Zelda. Mario is great but given a choice I'd chose Zelda without a second to think.

Why? Wii is still selling more hardware and software then their competitors

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

No, Nintendo just needs to stop with all the User Generated Content stuff. (Like Malstrom says)

They presented good enough arguments, maybe over the top calling the Wii doomed but other than that most of what they said is fact, just said in a negative light.

Fact? Like what? Can you at least name us a few of those ''facts''?

I just shrug stuff like this off, I've come to expect it. Nintendo is always "doomed" in the eyes of the mainstream and hardcore gaming media. It's part of their history. And as long as Nintendo exists, they will be getting these doomsday claims, because their practices are eccentric and the mainstream gaming media just doesn't get it. In fact, I'm pretty surprised that we haven't been hearing more of this lately.

Doesn't matter though, it doesn't stop the success of the Wii so we shouldn't care about it, and I doubt Nintendo does. Let's just point and laugh at the stupidity of these so called "journalists."

Um, what games have they done since Wii Music that rely on it so much?

The Wii isn't going anywhere but up.

My favourite part was where they said Wii gamers don't buy games.

The Wii's attach ratio is every so slightly lower than the PS3's... does that mean PS3 owners don't buy games either?

Hey, they know the truth regardless of the facts.

Wrong. They hate the Wii for plenty of reasons.

What are those?...I'm a 360 fan..and I don't hate the wii...
