Microsoft should be extremely worried that their system is the same price now as the PS3.  Now that the price is a non-factor (who actually buys the 360 arcade unit?) for each company's fully featured console, the 360 looks absolutely primitive by comparison.  The PS3 plays Blu-ray...the 360 DVD.  PS3 has built in Wi-Fi...the 360 not.  The PS3 has free online...the 360 makes you pay.  The PS3 has a slot loading disc drive...the 360 an antiquated tray.  The PS3 is reliable...the 360 not so much.  I'm sure other people can think of more examples.  The point is that MS should not be looking to match the PS3's price.  They should be looking to beat it considering what each console offers.  The Elite 360 should sell at $249 or even $199.

Notice I'm not talking about the games here.  "Good" or "bad" games are a purely subjective matter.

Yeah, it definitely drives home Sony's points about value.

Wtf! Arcade is the best unit of them all since its the most up-gradeable of the 3! (or 2?)

IMO i started with an arcade and tweaked it, and if i so choose even futher tweaks can be made.

Arcade is for those who want to play just the games, like exclusives.

At anyrate on topic: This is fruitless, because everyone has a taste of there own making, you show them a PS3 @ 299 be it slim or not VS an elite 360 for 299 as-well but the person has a history with MS gear and trusts it then its there choice.

In Conclusion: The matter is not the gear, its the person. if the person does not want to change no-one can change them except themselves.

Oh and also Price does matter and does alter the opinions of the hardest of fanboys but you get the point. 

Actually the Pro.  The Arcade only sold the most during the last holiday season.  All other times and for the entirety or 2009 it has been majority Pro.
