Madden is really good this year. People over hype 2k5 the gameplay in it was broken, madden 05 was way better then 2k5. EA worrys about the games gameplay a 2k worrys about putting in refs a broadcasting stuff. I would much rather have good gameplay then presentaion.

I would still rather have a choice, even if I ultimatley pick Madden I want to pick Madden because it is the best game not the only game!!

Yea would be ok with there being a choise. But it wasn't Ea that wint to the nfl to get the deal. The nfl asked ea if they wanted it a they had to pay for it. A I can't blame EA for taking it though it was a smart move, 2k was selling there game for $20 dollers EA had to cut there price from $50 doller to $25. That was alot of money they were losing i bet.

I respect ur opinion, alot of people like 2k5 a still play it. But I think madden is way better because of all the preplay set up that can be done on offence a d. And EA's online was much better wit lots of updates to the roster.

Excellent point. Outside of cell phone games, EA has total exclusivity of the NFL license. 2K only has 3rd party exclusivity. Which is why Sony still can make MLB games. If MS or Nintendo wanted to make use of the MLB license they could. EA has zero competition in the NFL arena.

well the updates/rosters came to both games, people still make updates for it til lthis day..

I liked the Online for 2K5 because of the amount of people you can play with, If I remember correctly Madden would only let you play one on one, 2K5 let you pay with multipal people on either end..
