SE is not fair. They give X360 Final Fantasy XI, Last Remnant (still no release date), Infinite Undiscovery and Star Ocean IV but PS3 got nothing. It was good FFXIII going multi but why not others. Those titles should sold better in Japan.

Predictions
GT5 will sell 3.2million + first week on ps3 (made 06 March 2010)
FFXIII Versus will have higher Metacritic scores than FFXIII after the first month.... Bet going on with perpride - loser changes sig for a month
KH3 will be PS3 EXCLUSIVE - willing to bet removal from vgchartz for a month

Sorry if this has been already thought of and posted by someone, but I think this shows that this game will be pretty linear. Exploration might be limited (or, if I'm wrong, 360 users will be doing a hell of a lot of disc-swapping), and we might have to say goodbye to the airship (please, SE, no). That would really suck.

I thought SE said the game wont be affected when they announced the game for 360 as well?
The lies just keep coming

To my knowledge SO4 was the only multi-disk game to ever do that.

It's no surprise that the only 4-disc 360 game was published by Microsoft, thus negating the licensing fee. The first 3-disc game was also published by Microsoft (Blue Dragon) and there has thus far been only one other 3-disc game (Star Ocean 4). |
There is no licensing fee per disk. There never has been, and there never will be. The quote was mis-intepretated, and has been clarified many, many, many times now. There is extra cost to using the third disc due to manufacturing only. There is no extra licensing fee for more discs.
A more rational interpretation would be that you have to swap discs after going so far in the story. The same way almost every single JRPG has done since the concept first came about.
Bitter fanboy tears make me smile. Keep on raging guys.
Honestly this isn't a big deal at all... I have no problem with having to swap discs, and only one time for each, mind you. Plus, being able to cram a game featuring a massive amount of cut scenes on 1 disc isn't really that much of an accomplishment... this isn't the PS1/N64 days you know.
Funny that I never heard people complain about FFVII being 3 discs and FFVIII being 4 discs back in the PS1 days... and we were always told how CD storage space was far superior to carts, and that FFVII would have never worked on N64 (which is why it was switched to PS1), yet Capcom managed to cram Resident Evil 2 onto one cart for the N64 version... cut scenes and all!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
