About bloody time. Hopefully he has a good run with the title and doesn't lose it to Randy Orton like next week or something.

So when will you kids grow up and watch MMA?

Because you know, don't need to watch fakers when you can get the real thing?

because I don't like watching folks fight in infinitely boring brazilian Ju-Jitsu matches where it all comes down to a "sweaty man hug" for 30 minutes then a random stray punch to end it.  At least boxing matches are sort of exciting in their own way.  and why are you so arrogant to think that folks on here need to "grow up" if anything MMA is a fad that will fade out here in a few years just like X-games, televised poker, paintball and any other sports fad.

I just bought tickets for a Smackdown house show; front row, center balcony seats. I was looking forward to seeing Rey Mysterio, but he got drafted. Oh well, at least Sin Cara will take his place.

I saw the Chris Jericho's 'Break the Code' video on Netflix about a week ago, and it was pretty good. His persona was pretty entertaining in WCW; shame, he never got the chance there because of politics.

Correction.  Jericho's persona in WCW wasn't just pretty entertaining, it was the best persona there was in all of wrestling at that time.  So many great bits; the man of 1004 Holds, conspiracy victim Jericho, him wearing Juventud Gurrera's mask on his belt, beating Perry Saturn and forcing him to wear a dress, I could go on forever.

The biggest reason that he never got a chance was because he kicked Bill Goldberg's butt for real backstage.  Look it up if you don't believe me.

Yeah, they fought on Raw backstage. In WCW, Goldberg refused to work with Jericho, because he thought Jericho wasn't big or popular enough.

I'm excited on seeing Kong (Kharma) again. I have a feeling she'll debut on Raw and beat up Cole while he's talking during a diva match.

I never heard about them fighting backstage on Raw.  I was talking about Nitro.  From what I understand, Goldberg was upset with some skits that Jericho was doing including one where he beat up a Goldberg midget and Jericho was also coming out with his own personal security (two guys) mocking how Goldberg came out surrounded by body guards.  He decided to confront Jericho and proceeded  to put his hand on his throat.  Jericho then put him in a front face lock along with leg scissors and made him pass out.  When he finally came through and other wrestlers pulled Jericho off of him and had a hold of him, instead of hitting him, Goldberg pulled his hair (no joke).  At the time, Goldberg was thought of as the flagship of WCW and this pretty much ended Jericho's hopes of ever being a main eventer.  It's a shame because a a rivalry between Jericho and Goldberg would have been great since Goldberg was at the height of his popularity and Jericho was extremely over as a comedic heel.

All I could find on Google was their altercation at Raw. Never found anything from Nitro. Maybe Goldberg talked about it in the documentatry (Goldberg appears and talks about his rivalry with Jericho). Yeah, it's a shame a  Goldberg/Jericho rivalry never truly happened, since it would have established Jericho as a major player. Then again, a lot of guys at WCW got screwed.

I doubt that Goldberg would admit to the time that the guy about 100 pounds less then him gave him a whooping.  :p

About the guys at WCW being screwed; there were a ton that I can think of and it's a shame.  I'd argue that WCW at one time had the best roster of any promotion ever.  Guys like Jericho, Raven, Benoit, Guerrero, Booker T, and Mysterio should have been in the main events, but instead we got stuff like Hulk Hogan vs. the Ultimate Warrior which was kinda cool like ten to fifteen years earlier.

I think they should turn the Diva's championship into a Diva's tag team championship and make a rule that Kharma can't have a tag team partner.
