Last night's Smackdown! was really good. I hope they push Mark Henry now that he's a heel. We all know Orton will be the face of Smackdown!,but, Christian will get his fair share I hope. Cody Rhodes "ugly" persona is good, he needs to get a big push and the World Heavyweight title later this year. Sin Cara was impressive last night. The Layla & Michelle McCool rivalry just went to a whole nother level, WWE needs more rivalry like that w/ the divas. The loser of the Layla/McCool match at Extreme Rules will have to leave WWE,but, I think Kharma (formely Awesome Kong) will debut and interfere in the match.

If they do something that silly then what was the point of even drafting Del Rio?

Then again after what happened with Cena, anything can happen, so.

 


John Cena and The Miz were tag team champs for a week.  Do you doubt the WWE's ability to do something absolutely pointless?

Well as stated, after that Cena draft incident, nope. Oh, and the pointless existence of NXT.

I just bought tickets for a Smackdown house show; front row, center balcony seats. I was looking forward to seeing Rey Mysterio, but he got drafted. Oh well, at least Sin Cara will take his place.

I saw the Chris Jericho's 'Break the Code' video on Netflix about a week ago, and it was pretty good. His persona was pretty entertaining in WCW; shame, he never got the chance there because of politics.

Correction.  Jericho's persona in WCW wasn't just pretty entertaining, it was the best persona there was in all of wrestling at that time.  So many great bits; the man of 1004 Holds, conspiracy victim Jericho, him wearing Juventud Gurrera's mask on his belt, beating Perry Saturn and forcing him to wear a dress, I could go on forever. 

The biggest reason that he never got a chance was because he kicked Bill Goldberg's butt for real backstage.  Look it up if you don't believe me.

Yeah, they fought on Raw backstage. In WCW, Goldberg refused to work with Jericho, because he thought Jericho wasn't big or popular enough.

I'm excited on seeing Kong (Kharma) again. I have a feeling she'll debut on Raw and beat up Cole while he's talking during a diva match.

About bloody time. Hopefully he has a good run with the title and doesn't lose it to Randy Orton like next week or something.

Well, fuck.  There goes my "Jimmy the Greek"-like ability to pick pro-wrestling outcomes!

Congrats to Christian, though.  Seeing him in the ring next to Orton on Smackdown, he just didn't look like championship material but I was a fan of his persona on TNA.  Glad he's going to get his chance to shine!
