Forums - Sony - Has Sony finally learned how to advertise?

That's a magnificient ad. Reminds me sort-of of the iTouch commercials, where the guy displays that it does anything you can think of.

Where is this actually being advertised? Is that in a magazine or something? Somehow that same idea needs to be in every one of Sony's adverts this holiday season.

Around the Network

I like the new ad, but Zones.

The PS3 Universe of Entertainment ad wasn't very good. It was a neat commericial but completely sucked in advertising. It just appealed straight to the very limited demographics the PS3 and 360 already appeal to.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

At that time, considering their game line-up, Sony aimed to get the potential PS3 buyers rather than launching a mainstream ad campaign for selling the system to families.

Before the price cut and the launch of the Universe of Entertainment ad campaign, less than 10 million PS3s were sold worldwide, so Sony obviously wanted to target that very limited demographics to ensure that the PS3 is out of the woods. The Universe of Entertainment ad campaign very well accomplished that.

hello how are you.

Some videogame "players" in this site are so "hardcore" that they buy a PS3 only for bragging rights against it.

By the gods, they simply CANNOT be haters, no sir. They possess one after all, right? We are merely seeing negativity where it doesn't exist, is it not so?
