Prices range wildly on cases. The difference between a good case and a bad case is not just price, but also layout, which helps with assembly and cable management and airflow for systems with overclocked components.
It depends on how much you're willing to spend.
I'd recommend an Antec 300 as a good entry level case designed specifically for gaming rigs, but then I'm also biased since I have a personal preference for their cases. They shouldn't cost more than $60, but you can find them for less on a good deal.
I need something that will fit a 12 inch x 8.2 inch ATX and I need a Power Supply.. It needs to have decent cooling.
The Antec 300 is a mid-tower case that will house any standard ATX board.
I'm assuming you're not ordering online or you could have easily looked that up in less than a minute.
Price items through NewEgg.com even if you're not buying online. It will give you a good idea of what to buy and what to avoid as many who buy from them are technically inclined and are quick to post their two cents' worth of opinion on every part they buy.
I saw the Antec 300 and I liked it but I was just takin suggestions.. I need a PSU to if ya could.
If by mid-range you mean anything in the range of a HD4890/GTX275 with a 130watt CPU, it's still within the safety margin assuming the PSU being used is a high quality one.
But if you're buying a new PSU, I don't see much reason to go lower than 600watts for a dedicated gaming machine that will presumably be overclocked.
Corsair, Enermax, OCZ, PC Power and Cooling, Zalman, Silverstone, Seasonic and generally anything that is 80 Plus certified.
Seeing as this is, i hope u no what ur doing, or else just buy a pc built for gaming @ newegg or something

Because you're paying $200-$300 more than if you built it yourself? And if you mean Dell or Hp too then make that $400-$500.
