Most economists state that the recession actually started in 2007 with the collapse of the housing market. The recession started showing more and more when we have had teh stock market dip last year.

And we were leaning to socialism as it were. The U.S. was never a truly captialist country. We are more captialist with socalistic tendencies. Which is why it's called a democracy than an captialist country.

Comparing Obama to Hitler is awful, a much better comparison would be Obama and Stalin, as Obama is turning us into the socialist states of America.

Both sides of political party are very hypercritical. People need to learn to look at both side and try to put yourself in other people shoes before making a judgment that you think is better for the whole country because no plan will work for everyone. I have a uncle that made really good money, not rich but he was upper middle class and he believed that the poor was only poor because they haven't tried hard enough, and that he shouldn't have to pay taxes for the poor who can't take care of them self. Well now because of the economy he's not as rich as he use to be and is struggling, now his belief have changed quite a bit. So my point is before someone can judge whats best for everyone they need to remember that everyone has different lifestyles and no one plan will work for everyone.

As for Obama's health care plan: Canada has a free health care plan that works, why can't we?
I don't know I'm happy with my healthcare plan, I was sick today and I went to the ER and got my medicine and my insurance covered anything.
I'm Centrist, I have mixed Republican and Democratic views.

It's a shame our first black president has to be such a bad one...Well I don't think he's doing that bad, but alot of people do.

Just FYI - The "Why do you continue to support a Nazi policy?" question is LaRoushe rhetoric. And for those who don't know this group is a liberal extremists group, not a conservative group.

I'm sure there are a few nutjobs on the right making the comparison as well but the only voices doing this consistently and with force are on the left.

In a vaccuum it is pretty damn funny, I agree there. Uunfortunately its lost much of its amusement for me in reality as a result of how it has been used as a bludgeon against people who had nothing to do with it.

People who compare Obama to Hitler are incredibly ignorant and stupid. So are people who use a few quotes to represent a large group. I don't get myself worked up over either one. People used Michael Moore as a representation of what all liberals think, even though he's a raving idiot. Just don't let it bother you.
