Which one should I get first? NSMBWii or Metroid Prime Trilogy? I will get one of the games during the holidays near Christmas time while I will get the other on my birthday in February...

Assuming you have never played any of the Metroids, 3 games beats 1.

the 2 games... Metroid could last a little bit longer

Mario is multiplayer which is better to have over the holidays when you have lots of visitors.

Depends on whether you played the Prime series yet or not. If not, then get the Prime series because it has 3 games, and much more content. If so, then go with the new game.

what do you mean to say by 2 games i thought trilogy came with three games hence trilogy.......

Maybe he means  out of the two games? It DOES come with 3 games though.

I chose NSMBWii as I think not only will that be the most fun but it's also got a kick ass 4 player mode so you can play with family or friends or whatever.

Remember, it's up to you though, don't let us pressure you either way
