NEXT gen starts when the console (or handheld) with better graphics than ALL last gen consoles is launched (like 360 in december 2005). Since PS2 has slightly better graphics than PSP and much better graphics than DS, DS and PSP are not next gen, more like 6.5 gen

Seriously though, the combined sales of the HD consoles versus the wii means jack shit. Because ultimately Sony and microsoft don't have some sort of ungodly partnership that allows them to pool their money together.

Anyway, this is pretty much the saddest thread I've seen in a while. Woohoo 2 consoles are only beating 1 by 2,140,000 units!!!

That's awesome! Now let's combine 10 HD games and say that they're beating Wii Sports!!! Another win for HD!
