Forums - Sony - PSP Go = £224 So How Many UK Gamers Still Getting It?

I would buy it if it were sub £200. Also, I want have a good idea of how much I'll be paying for games before I get one.

I might get an iTouch 8GB, or 16GB if I have the money.

Yeah never shopped at Amazon, But it is a slightly cheaper HDD though so definatley I'll consider it. Just took a look in at the HDD holder and I'm going to need a mighty small screwdriver for the screws.

Amazon is the most reliable online store. I buy all my games from there!

Yeah Amazon is extremely reliable,  I have never had one problem form them before.   Also instead of using a screwdriver I just used a pair of pliers to grab the head of the screw,  it was tough to intially break the screw loose but after that I used a screwdriver,  but I never tightened it as much as they did from the factory.

It would be interesting if at the last moment, Sony dropped the price on the system. Think about it, if Sony say they will release a PSP Go! for about $20 more or less than the current PSP, it would hurt PSP sales since people will just wait for the PSP Go! But if they announce right before it comes out that it's going to be $200 (not sure how that translates) then they will still have the PSP 3000 sales AND a successful launch of the PSP Go!

Good observation my friend. You should work for Sony :D

And if I ever did have a problem, Amazon would fix it straight away!

That would be clever, but I dont think they would do that.    It could piss alot of people off that would have waited for the PSP Go if they knew it was that price.    Maybe the price is this high because they get a free copy of GT PSP if they register their PSP Go within 10 days of launch.

People get pissed off regardless but in the end, Sony are in the business to make money. Think of all the people who are slightly mad because they bought a PS3 at $400 dollars a week ago. I do think that GT PSP is an incentive but I could honestly picture Sony dropping the price of the Go by the end of the year.

But most of those people can get a price match,  in some stores you have between 14-30 days to match a sale price on an item you bought.   So while its a little inconvienent, not all is lost like the PSP situation.

Ok guess I'll make an account with Amazon..:D They definatley do have some good offers, like the way sometimes they get the cool little gifts with games; Muliplayer code, T-Shirt, Keyrings etc.

Pliers good idea, All this HDD space will come in handy when Europe gets The Video Store..:D

Yeah i am interested but not at this price point. 220 pounds is way too much, i could buy it at 150 because its a damn good piece of hardware and i like that you can play it on the go completely but its way to expensive at the moment.

PSP 3000 looks cool but i really want the GO version, so i can wait.
