yeah i'd be pretty annoyed but these are some of the last buyers of the fat ps3, maybe they wanted to get there hands on them seen as they wont be being made anymore, and this is in europe, where we've been seing a lot of price cuts latley but yeah your right if they'd have waited another week or so they would have had an even better deal

Yeah but PS3's price drop didn't drop in my Wal-Mart system till yesterday for $299.99. Were they already cheaper in the UK last week? Because I made that comment because I figured they paid even more last week then they would pay now. Atleast on Amazon, Wal-Mart.com (you get MLB the Show 09 free and Casino Royale!!) in the US there are plenty of 80 gig Phats left and on Wal-Mart they come with free MLB The Show 09 for the whopping price of $299.

It's just that simple.

... and we won't fully be able to judge the price effect till the holiday rolls along, but if Wal-Mart dropped it mid week... then next week won't be a fair comparison either, and the week after that we see the Slim PS3's on shelves.

Sony is going to have a nice victory the next few months.

It's just that simple.
