Forums - Sony - Cnet: Skip the PS3 Slim and Buy a Blu-ray Laptop(lol,,wut?)

But if you're looking for a PS3 then obviously you are looking for either
A - System that plays PS3 games
B - A Bluray player that you can set up to watch movies in the living room or w/e.

The laptop is neither, unless you want to uselessly spend $1000 for something you weren't even looking for in the first place.

Didn't cnet also gvie the ps3 8.7 out of 10 the 360 an 8.5 out of 10 and the wii a 8.0 out of 10?

oh come on people. It's just a simple article about Blu-ray laptop that uses the PS3 slim announcement as a segway (makes it topical and increases hits) And besides, they give some good reasons to. Like they said, if you want movies, it's got movies AND a display. It's a portable laptop and it plays PC games. And you may have noticed that he seem perfectly aware of the price difference.

"Sure, they're all vastly more expensive options than the PS3's newly discounted $299, and if you're shopping based on price, this entire concept may be thinner than the PS3 Slim itself"

The fact that some guy at his job writes an article on "hey people, these laptops are pretty good" and nerds on an internet forum about game sales, thumb their noses and issue blanket statements of incapablity and unprofessionalism is pretty pathetic...

I really do wonder why I still come here sometimes.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Well said.

New article.

"Why buy a 360 when this laptop can do Netflix"
