Forums - Sony Discussion - LBP PSP Loses Multiplayer

Sadly this pretty much ruins the game for me.  I really wish they didn't compromise on such a prominent feature of the original.  Maybe  LBPPSP2.

Around the Network

I wasn't planning to play with other people anyway (not even adhoc, since I don't know anyone with a PSP here), so no loss for me. I'm more interested in the campaing and created levels.

Still very interested in the game

The space themed level does look particularly interesting.

I'm just very shocked and disappointed. I would've given LBP a 9.25 for my solo run but an 12 for my current playthrough trying to 100% everything with my friends. Everything is just so much more enjoyable with others from just playing to creating and sharing.

I wasn't even expecting infrastructure just ad-hoc at least given it's popularity in Japan. This might be the first time I feel like Sony has failed me this generation.

Strange move. Multiplayer is always big for handheld titles.

I never played with anyone online on my PSP so it's no big deal to me. I prefer playing online on the PS3 only.
