Forums - Gaming - Best Naruto Game (for me)

I can attest that UNS is the best Naruto game on the market. Everything feels organic and you feel as if your in the acutal anime. Though if you are patient enough you should wait for UNS2 which should be out soon (An announcement at TGS probably) as Naruto in NA is at Shippuden right?

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Also, does anyone know if The Broken Bond has Transformations? So far, TBB's character list is looking VERY... GNT4-like... Which is a good thing... Ah, when will they learn not to TAKE OUT CHARACTERS!?!?!?!?

GAH! I am going to have to force myself not to buy all three!

From what I've heard, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (PS3) is the best so far.

I haven't played it so I can't attest to it first-hand.

No, that game is shit.  I wish I could find the rant about the game but I fail at searching today and couldn't find it.

From what I remember the fighting system isn't bad but it makes you do all these asinine quests in order to progress and it's just not in any way at all fun.

Strange... All the reviewers who reviewed both games complain more about the story mode in Broken Bond than in Storm (IGN, GT)... I'm curious twesterm. Have you played TBB or CoN:R/2? I would love a comparison from someone who has played through both or all three games, as I've just played the demos...

If the team is working on Accel3 then how could they be doing UNS2 at the same time? IDK about the US anymore, considering I'm more of a Manga Reader in general with Naruto over watching the Anime... But I know that they're past the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, but IDK if they're past those horrible fillers >.>

I really liked Broken Bond the best. I hope they make a sequel.

I have only played Ultimate Ninja Storm and one of the ones on the Gamecube (forget which one).

The fighting and the art for UNS was fantastic, it's just having to suffer through all the quests that made it suck.

I can only go by what my 2 Naruto fanatic cousins tell me. They have Broken Bond and UNS as well as some other title on the Wii and a few PS2 titles.

They had a small complaint like you about your team mates being helper only and that some parts of the single player became repetitive after a while (ie: hopping from tree to tree in the forest stages) but they said that when it comes down the main draw of the game(s) for them, which is the fighting system, overall UNS is easily a much better game.

They also said Broken Bond is crap.

Like I said though, this is the opinions of my 17 and 13 year old cousins who are Naruto fanatics, reading Shonin Jump and the like and knowing everything about the series. Take what you will.

Itachi Uchiha is sick in UNS too, not to mention that the title also has plenty of free DLC as well.

- Main focus is a fighting game. Side things are OK, but I don't want an adventure game with fighting on the side. - Fighting system is excellent.
- 3D fights, not 2D. This is a must.  - Ultimate Ninja Storm is 3-D I believe.
- GNT4-style challenges are kinda fun, but trophies/achievements are similarly fun. - No trophies, not sure about challenges. I know it has something.
- Multiplayer, the more players the better. - Has multiplayer but unfortunately no online. Big con.
- Online play would be nice. - Read above.
- There HAS to be a Kyuubi Naruto, OTK form preferred. - I know 25 characters have transformations. Kyuuba Naruto is there as well and OTK form. (One Tailed Kyuubi?)
- Sasuke must be a playable character - Yup.
- Kakashi must be a playable character - Yup.
- Good graphics are nice, as I heard UNS has REALLY good ones - Yup.
- I don't mind learning a new control scheme (even Wii), and options are good, but I'm not too fond of just plain waggle
- I like LOTS of characters. - UNS has over 30 I believe.
- I HATE filler characters - All games will have those.
- I like Zabuza and Haku as playable characters, even if Kisami is a Zabuza clone - Zabuza and Haku are not in UNS.
- I like it better when the games stick to the storyline - Not 100% positive, but I think it may.
- I DON'T like it when the finishing moves are over-the-top (like in Accel 2) - Don't know what qualifies, but they are awesome.
- I like to be as caught up with the Japanese versions as possible, but I don't like the removal of old characters (as referenced above) - Japanese voice overs are also available in UNS.
- I don't want to buy a game, then have the sequel come out really soon. - None coming out that anyone knows of.

I know it is impossible to fit this criterea, but can someone point me to the one that is closest to what I want? Thanks.

I did my best to answer your questions and UNS fills almost everything on your list to be perfectly honest except for Zabuza and Haku.

I may still get this game myself though. I enjoy the fighting style a lot whenever I go to visit my cousin.
