Saying that you're skeptical is not the same as saying something couldn't be as simple as it appears, but politics is not as simple as it once was and both political parties are using underhanded tactics to make their side look good (and the other side look poor) ...

To use a different example, how many people here would be surprised to learn that many of the questions in the townhall meetings were plants by both the Republican and Democrat parties? How many people would be surprised if some of the worst questions (that earn youtube fame) were plants from the opposite party to make their opponents look bad?

With how easy it is to manipulate the appearance of something today you should be naturally skeptical of anything you see on TV or on the internet

Edit: On top of that, I fully admit that the reason the racist acts could have followed the Democrat's spin was because people were looking for it more or because the suggestion of racism at these protests encouraged racists to come out.

Sometimes the best spin is just highlighting something that already exists. Conservatism has been fairly good at playing on bigotry and prejudice as a political tool. Vocal conservatives often think nothing of attacking others through insinuation. Tossing out labels and calling names as if it is what wins an argument. What else are terms like Marxism, Socialism, Nazism, Liberal, Totalitarianism, and Unamerican.

The truth is you can turn on any conservative political radio show, and listen to these words pour from the hosts mouth like a raging torrent. Just one long diatribe for free flowing hatred. How do these shows persist. They have an audience. Who is this audience conservatives. What must they be thinking. Day in and day out getting a huge helping of hate mongering and name calling. How can they not have their screws loosened.

I do believe this ladies sentiment is from the heart. I believe her when she says Heil Hitler. The truth of the matter is that she is enthralled with him every single day. She hears him on the radio. She sees him on television. Every one of these ultra conservative commentators read from Hitlers play book on how to whip up the mob. They are Hitler.

There was an old Twilight Zone episode entitled He's Alive. I could only find a small montage on Youtube, but if you ever get the chance see the full episode. Pay attention to Hitler tutoring the young man in how to spread his cause. You might see the parallels.

This woman is vile. I think there are a lot of people who fit that category though. Rapists, child molesters, murders, and so one. I am sure all of them have an opinion one way or the other on healthcare.

It has nothing however, to do with the debate on healthcare.

This woman is a horrible person. However, using this video footage as a promotional tool to help pass healthcare and to try and demonize all who are against it, is pretty horrible too.

Here is one of the most racist things I have heard on TV. Is it safe for me to say all liberals are this racists against conservatives? This is nothing more then hate speech.

My point with that last post is this.

Hundreds of thousands of people are coming out and protesting against this bill. It's very easy to find a few (or a lot), who are piece of shit Americans. it matters not what the cause is. If we has a few hundred thousand liberals protesting something, we can find people just as horrible.

It has nothing to do with the issue, and everything to do with the fact that some people suck. The more people you find like this, the more I fight to make sure no one obtains more power over my life. It solidifies in me how untrusting the human race is to make choices that are best for me.

Congress, in the last 10 years, has yet to make one that's in my best interest. Why do I want to now give them more power?
