i think the ps3 slim looks like crap, the original ps3 looks awesome and powerfull . slim looks just plain and nothing to see.

We all know one reason it's being released is to reduce the cost of the system for Sony, but how far have they taken it? Is it possible they sacrificed quality for cost? Well over at Engadget they got their hands on a PS3 Slim, and slim pickings it is. The box seems to be poorly packaged using as little as possible to make it by. I've becomed concerned that Sony may have taken the cost cutting a little too far, and quality has be sacrificed. Don't get me wrong, I am a Sony fan, and I do intend on getting a Slim regardless of the ugly design, but I will wait to see how the quality turns out. Just something for all you potential buyers to think about.

it has lessen in quality but it really didnt start now the 60g with 4 usbs and memory card readers and B/C own all other skus after that sku they all lessen in quality

That's not quality, that's features.

Actually the 60GB models are the more prone to hardware failure because of the higher power consumption and heat production. On the contrary I'd say that subsequent models, though poorer in features, have shown to be of a higher overall construction quality.

Don't really. The 60 gig SKUs breakdown a lot more.
