it is not very nice looking...especially when shown beside the larger one. it certainly looks cheaper...i suppose thats what they were going for...but i dont think its a good decision.

Are you saying that it will also have a larger failure rate than the PS3 fat?

this makes me very happy, both a pricecut and a slim. WOOHOO. I think the slim is better looking than both wii, 360 and original ps3. sony have gained themselves a customer

That's like saying Ninjabread man 2 will be game of the year. Nice for a lol, but it's never gonna happen.

jack tretton already said they are BREAKING EVEN.
and they are passing the saves to consumer.

they are breaking even, profiting in a bout 6 months probably

Well i really dont care how it looks but... the glossy shiny finish is GONE, thats one of the main things i liked about the original PS3.

Oh-well...

It doesn't matter because at THAT price point and given the fact its true alot of people EVERYWHERE are getting a large serving of humble pie.

Expect the PS3 to sell alot more now.

It will sell more, but will it beat the 360? That is the question.
