I really do like the new look.
I think it looks fine, it's not the über prettiest console of all time, but it isn't ugly either. It's just fine.
2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 :
PS3 is too big, looks like grill, have no place to put it, too glossy, catches too much dust, too expensive and why do they copy the spiderman logo, just ugly.
I will buy one if Sony lowers the price, fixes the dust issue, increases the HDD and make it smaller

Sony announced price cut, makes it smaller and slimmer, fixes the dust issue and the logo.
Fans: I preferred the old PS3, IT was beautiful and glossy, and that beautiful logo. I won't be buying it.

Though the leaked pictures were indeed real so there probably isn't much of a point in dong this, but compare the neogaf mock-up with the actual Slim
people really complained about the big PS3's apperance?
ive always liked the big PS3, always thought it was the best looking console this gen too.

not that much bigger than my 360 or PS2, smaller than my PC...
it also has that nice glossy finish and the cool silver bit at the front, not to mention the logo is all cool and shiny, big PS3 is the shit, best looking console i own.
new one looks like cheap plastic with PS3 embossed on it, which is a shame cause the PS1 and PS2 slim looked really cool (though i personally prefred the big PS2, which i have, but slim PS2 was still pretty cool)
