It is more an SNES/Genesis typical JRPG but then in 3D. I like the style =p.

is it me or does the guy with a sword looks like toad?

and the scans a pretty bad cause that doesn't good there (i'm sure it must look decent at least)

If I'm correct, it's done on purpose, it's based on a japanese game (psp) that came out rcently called 30 second hero which was kind of a throw back to OLD style 2d rpgs but crammed into 30secons (i.e you had 30seconds to defeat an entire horde of enemies and then the boss). Played the psp version, it was weird to say the least, wonder how the ps3 version will play.
