Forums - General - What is the worst movie that was based on a video game?

Street Fighter the Movie was terrible... And it's a fucking crime, too, because:
1) it was the last movie that Raul Julia ever made (and the only blessing in that is that he didn't live to see how awful that movie would turn out to be); and
2) it ruined Jean-Claude Van Damme's career (it kinda sucks that he couldn't recover from that piece of shit video-game-based movie).

Jean-Claude Van Damme has done plenty of bad movies.

The first Mortal Kombat is probably my favorite video game to live action movie.

It had a decent plot (excellent for a Fighting-game-based movie), decent acting, Johnny Cage punching Goro in the nuts, and a good ending.  It wasn't great, but it was entertaining and worth seeing.

I watched the Spirits Within a couple years ago and I thought it was actually pretty good.
Street Fighter however was unbearably bad.

Probably Art of Fighting & Samurai Shodown. I dare anyone to prove me otherwise.

I LIKE REDMOON ONLINE. IT'S TEH MOST AWESOMEST MMORPG. RUNESCAPE HAS NOTHING ON IT. ;) My full Videogame collection (Well, not really that full): http://www.backloggery.com/marktheshark I'LL COOL YOUR ANGER WITH AN ICE SPIRIT BLAST!!!!111111!!!!!!111!!!!1!!!
