yes and b/c of that we should treat other humans with respect and be good stewards of the planet and our resources, this of course extends to giving a helping hand and redemption

if a dog were to bite your hand after going thru obedience school and learning that is not proper behavior, would you forgive it?

and if so how is a dog worth more forgiveness then a human?

I think you're missing my point, there are obviously times when an animal needs to be killed, for survival, because it poses a threat, because it's suffering, etc...  What I have a problem with, is cruelty to animals when there is no reason.

Starving dogs and training them to kill each other to gamble on clearly falls within that definition, and that is not a humane thing to do.  Punishing people for that isn't the same as treating animals like gods, Vick went to jail for 2 years, that's fair, he wasn't executed.

Hm?  I hardly ever even see you post as it is.  I'm not sure why you'd think I'd put you on the ignore list.

if it was an ordinary guy that did this, people would of got over it, but since Vick makes millions and the animal-rights people don't, they have to make a big deal out of it.

He doesn't really want to apoligize cuz he is a peace of shit who odviously didn't mind commiting the horrible act which is why he did it to a huge number of dogs. The only reason he is apoligizing is because he agent and the nfl is making him.

I hope the NFL fails.

Repent or be destroyed

I find it weird that people make such a big deal out of these things when famous people are involved.

He did his time and seems regretful. I'm willing to give him a second chance if my Philly eagles are.

Plus his crime wasn't nearly as bad as Donte Stallworth's DUI manslaughter and he's being allowed to play in the 2010/11 season! that's ridiculous he killed a man while drunk driving. That's way worse than dogfighting.
