I desperately hope for a price-cut. Don't really care for the slim.
However the pessimist in me thinks that none will happen tomorrow.

I think a lot of evidence points to a price cut on the fat model (aka a temporary price cut). There will be a temporary boost in sales on the fatties, but it will stabilize after those are all gone. Gamers have proven time and again that the $399 price point is too high.

I'd agree with you if not for the fact that many many supplier really are running out of stock and won't be restock until September. Thats pretty much the only piece of circumstancial evidence that I feel is credible as I've expirience it first hand. Still up in the air, but if not the slim than at least a new SKU should be introduce what with all the supply shortage running around.
I hope they show a game using their motion controls for god sake.
The fact that MS is cutting prices, while it is outselling ps3 by 20-40k a month on avg.. pretty much proves the SONY pricecut to be real, or even the slimps3...

If sony intoduce a PS3 SLIM and its the same price, they are very stupid, infact there needs to be massive price cuts! people DONT want a Slim they dont care, they want a ps3 at a good price. This is what the price needs to be for sony to stay in this christmas-
America - $299
Europe - 299
England - £199
will they be smart and do this?...unlikely

No PS3 slim = wtf?.... Not FF13 butthurt though. Still they'd be getting sore asses.
I say the PS3 gets a price cut but I don't see a slim.
