ME2 according to Selnor will be the best 2010 RPG because:

1. He can read the future

2. Its exclusive to 360/PC

3. And because Forza 3 will be the best driving simulator, Alan Wake will be the best horror game, Lost Planet 2 will be the new graphics king (before it was announced multiplat. Well you should see a trend here. Obiously 360 games come first.

I think in general SE are up and down. Some FF are great, others OK, and the rest mediocre. Of late they havent been great. FF10 and 12 struggled to keep my attention. Hopefully 13 is as flamboyant as 6,7,8 and 9. Maybe I'm getting to old now for the teenage storylines of yonug looking kids saving the world. With their usual teenage complexities and problems. Thats not very deep to me anymore.

Desperate for what? If FFXIII was 360 exclusive everyone here knows what selnor would be saying ie "FFXIII game of generation" . The only reason you think SO battle system is better is because it's 360 exclusive. Now run along and hype Alan Wake, Forza 3, Splinter Cell and Lost Planet 2

Dude come on man. Before FF13 was even said to be PS3 exclusive I vented my disaproval for FF games lately. And Lost Planet 2 I still consider to be one of the best looking games around. Yes even on the PS3. I dont have a problem saying a multiplat game is some of the best graphics around. Hell I even said KZ2 was the best graphics released when it came out. It still is until the later games drop this year.

^^ 26!?! you were barely potty trained when the original gaming machines came out. You don't get to be a cynical old gamer until you're at least 35. I won't even get started on 22. Sheesh you young scallywags think you've seen it all.

Actually what am I doing here? I've never played a FF game and I'm unlikely to start now. I did watch the "Spirits Within" movie though, does that count? OTOH what I've read and heard of Mass Effect is almost enough to make me go and buy a 360. And if ME2 is all it's cracked up to be it will be very hard to resist; though the missus will strike me down if I do so it ain't gonna happen unless I sell the PS3, and that ain't gonna happen.
