you realize ps3 getting a pricecut doesnt hinder 360 and its games in any way right?

yes it does when there was 100$ price difference sony was outselling 360 after the price cut of the 40gb.

sales ps3 maintained it lead until 360 second price cut in europe in 2008 and being cheaper than the wii and the PSP bundles.

and now selling only abit higher and even with the ps3 stock disappearing. with only 15k difference for most of the year.

any sell ps3 steals its one less for the 360. in markets like japan and europe are very important because they still up for the grabs.

360 will always be cheaper, it's why it has 2nd place locked in. Therefore no hindering

^^ um.... one could thought before that happens with release of GT5 and FF13 plus a price cut PS3 would have already obliterated xbox 360 in Europe and Japan..... maybe? *shrug* we'll have to w8 and see then, I say cut the crap outta each other, the more they cut, all the better for me.

Games provide temporary boosts, they dont decide console wars. Or at least not this one. This gen is all about price.

If so then why isn't the ppl going crazy over the 360 arcade and still buys the Wii?why isn't 360 on the first place way ahead of ps3,Wii? why is it only outselling ps3 by 20k week compared to Wii which out sells both even if you put ps360 sales together?

but isn't xbox 360 actually more expensive if online subscription is taken into account, plus lots of xbox 360 owners went through multiple consoles because of RROD? price is not the biggest factor, people buy consoles to play games, and they will buy console that have more appealing games to them, last but not the least, i think the price difference between 300 and 150 is smaller than the difference between 400 and 200.

Wii appeals to casuals, an entirely different market than us gamers. I thought this was common knowledge.
