Kingdom hearts is an enchanted game. If you have a ps2 and have not gotten any of the games... you sir are an idiot. Kingdom hearts is THE ONLY square enix franchise that rivals Final fantasy. I believe its better than FF in every way possible...

Retrospective? Why?

Anyways, people who don't have KH on PS2 are far from idiots, I can see its sometimes sloppy and experimental battle system turning people off. Hell, it's far from the best ARPG to come out of Square (or Enix).

Kingdom Hearts strengths are the lovable characters and light-hearted, but intriguing storyline. The fact that so many FF characters are in game also makes it awesome.

What is it Final fantasy:Crystal chronicals? Yea its on the nintendo systems they are tha Bommz../sacrasm

 

Now being realitic, the only thing that turned people away(me for some time) was that it contained disney characters. Turned people off especially teens.

Who mentioned Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles? He was most likely talking about something like Terrannimga, Secret of Mana or Illusion of Gaia, or something along those lines. There is a reason a lot of people still consider the SNES as the best console for RPGS. Also... ever hear of Dragon Quest?

Or actraiser. That was an Enix one too... I'm not sure you could call it an action RPG... though honestly I think the term "Action RPG" is bull anyway.

Action RPGs are just adventure games where your character progresses via levels.

Ooooh and E.V.O.. That was an awesome game that probaly classifies as an action RPG. But that's less based on what people thought of it then what i thought of it, as i really don't know anyone else that's even heard of that game.
