If you like dinosaurs and strategy games, and don't mind a little goofiness in your games, I'd say it's at least worth a rent. I just beat the game a little while ago and it was a really fun time.

Which do you think is better?  This game or Starfy?

That's tough. Personally, I liked Fossil Fighters better, and was almost addicted to it, but I really wouldn't disagree with anyone saying Starfy's  a better game. I can honestly say Starfy's probably all around a better game, but this one's alot deeper than Starfy.

Depends on what you like, I'd say, Stafy is the better one for most people.

I used Goyle as support until early chapter 4. That thing has huge defense and saved me many times.

i love starfy but this game is good too. its a tough choice for me.
I'm only on chapter 3, i spend waaay too much time cleaning fossils. i only updated my radar size and bag a few times.

Starfy sounds lame but Stafy sounds like a type of bacteria.

Goyle rulz! Elasmo rulz! Spinel is starting to fade back his 200+ fp attacks are pretty bad compared to Elasmo Fury and Poison Gas

mmm.. any recomendations on Earth vivosaurs? i want an equilibrated team idk...

Now i need to upgrade the drill, the stegosaur is really though!

My spinax is still the strongest one. Elasmo... never used it to know to compare.

If you got 200 cleaning points, buy the Compso, that thing is so cheap it almost break the game, LOL.

Then again, there are a lot of things that easily counter it but the AI isn't smart enough most of the time.

I like the battle system even more now, after figuring out more about it (never reads instruction, lol).

Unlike Pokemon where you'd have cookie cutter team. This one, involved a lot more strategy if it's pvp.

My current team got Spinax (air), Futabi (water, first support), Compso (Earth, second support).
Backup ranks: S-Raptor (fire, replace Spinax spot for type advantage), M-Raptor (Air, second support, replaced by Compso)

Futabi is very good. Once you complete it, you get Power Balance skill. And being long range can attack Fire type from the back.
Compso puts the enemies at zero defense most of the time and little attack. Negative 90% Attack/Defense applied to enemies.
Compso dies easily if they got long range.

Compso also give extra FP each turn to top off the awesome support bonus.
