You got to love it when fanboyism crowds the cruel fact that several people would have lost their jobs.

I had a feeling this thread was concerning that guy's idiotic statements. Just goes to show that some people should keep their mouth shut for matters that don't concern them.

It is sad that all the other people in Grin Studios lost their jobs for the moment, but it is death from association.

Yeah, Like I've said it's sad when any developer goes under, the irony is just that they went under for the practices Peter Wanat preached about.

The producer is the head of game cirection, he could have easily said wait stop this isn't going to make our money back before they invested so much but he trucked on.

Chronicles of Riddick didn't do so hot either and it was published by Universal.  If he made Universal lose a ton of money because they invested in the game then he's probably in hot water.  It's just like movie directors can only direct so many flops and terrible movies until they can no longer find work.

They also made the terrible Terminator Salvation game so actually three.

Actually Terminator Salvation is a movie tie-in (unlike the other two which came way late or does not involve a movie) so judging by that standard and sale of other movie tie in, it didn't do THAT bad....
