Incorrect, you certainly do not need a tri-core processor, but you do need a 9800GTX+ to play that game. I am honestly astonished that people are sayint that stuff like killzone looks this good.

just like Mario is another plat former, that's correct. an FPS from id is just as important as a plat former or a Zelda game from Nintendo. The man programming the engine for this, or at least the lead, is the creator of 3d games as you know them, and by far the most talented.

Great looking graphic, I'm interested but only cautiously as I never got into Fallout / Farcry, open world game just aren't my cup of tea mostly (except for Borderland which I'm drooling over).

The interested thing here is that I love my racers on console and my shooters on PC... control is more important than graphic for me sometimes so I'm not sure which version I'll get if I ever decide to purchase this.

If this game game gives more freedom to the gamer than ever, I'm all for it.

It seems we're moving to the next level of graphics quality in this generation.

^I dunno if that's real time, looks more like a cut-scene (yeah, cut-scenes often are in real-time, but... you have no freedom over the camera) but it's wonderful.
