Forums - Sony - PS1 Games to PsP

One of the big fatures is the Youtube support on the PS3 still works, and the PSP flash has yet to be updated..

As if Sony has just said F-It to PsP updates..

Now I just have to remote play to watch YouTube.

Glad you are enjoying this feature.

It has been one of my favorite things about the PS3+PSP.

I leave SaGa Frontier in my PS3 when I go to work and during lunch breaks I use my job's WiFi and play a good 45 mins or so of it while chilling in my car with the AC on.

Nice having my parking spot right outside the offices.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I'm having a hard time getting the PS3 to turn on when it's off over internet..

When I fist tried it, it turned on just fine, then for some reason it stopped working.

It will conenct through the private connection with Playstation.

And will connect with the PS3 On.

But not when the PS3 is off.

I have PS3 on a static IP, I have the ports forward T/U 9293 and I reconnected the PsP to the PS3 and still no luck.

It connected 2 times and then back to not working..

Kinda sucks.

That sucks and I wouldn't know how to help. I just leave my PS3 on when I go to work.

Thing is built like a tank (for me anyways), it's a 60GB and I have been working it into the ground like this for a long time now.

I just bought a PSP about two weeks ago (maybe less). I love the "remote play" option, too. My only problem is that the "turn on over the internet" option resets itself to "off" whenever I turn my PS3 off using the switch in the back. Aside from that, I'm fully satisfied with the console.

I almost never turn off the PS3 on the back, unless I do not plan on using it for a long time, or I go on vacation.

I think those settings are in memory only so to reset you can turn off PS3 from the back. Anyway you can just put it in sleep mode from the front. The amount of electricity utilized in sleep mode is negligible.

Yeah, but my Wii and PS3 both use component 2 on my TV. Unless the PS3 is turned completely off, you can't hear the Wii audio. My girl loves the Wii, so the PS3 is always off when I want to use remote play.

I didn't know that was possible.

I got a third party cable for my Wii and when I got the PS3, I noticed (or remembered) that the thing had connections for the Wii, PS3, and 360. Since the PS3 and Wii sit side by side (360 gets its own shelf!), they share the cord.
