I personally think 80 hours is too long. It will be a big risk for Sega.

Well in most jrpg's most of the bosses frustrates me and i really don't want to or feel like spending hours leveling up over and over just to beat one boss.

@ Aion
That's normal for an JRPG especially on PS1 and PS2 days
Persona 3 and 4 exceeds that 100+ hours and look how highly acclaim those 2 so if you are a true JRPG fan that's a plus.

They are great its just that i prefer shorter jrpgs and any main FF.

Yes pathetic i know but i was so young when i played FF IV and V, i need a guide for them. I plan on beating FF VII soon. I plan on beating FF XIII. FF II is not worth it. I already played over 20hrs in FF 1, ill beat that soon. FF 3 was alright. FF X was great but was too young to understand how to beat it.
I wish i could find some short rpgs.

80 hours, simultaneous release, Japanese voices, looking good so far... first day for me. And I'm starving for a good PS3 jrpg.

This.
I couldn't agree more.
4 ≈ One

Yet you seem to love Aion which has alot of grinding (although I admit, for a Korean made mmo, the grinding is a LOT less!)

Persona 3 and 4 are the exception rather than the rule. A lot of JRPGs these days tend to suffer from serious pacing issues cause by pointless padding and filler. In a lot of those JRPGs, a huge chunk of your time will be spent grinding which is very repetitive. I remember in SO3, that I grinded a lot. I probably spent a 1/4 to 1/3 of approx. 58 hours of game time grinding. In Persona 4, I probabaly spent at most, 5 hours of grinding out of over 70 hours.
