Don't get me wrong. I think XBL is much better than PSN (and people who say otherwise have never used XBL or are delusional). But in the end, I'm paying Microsoft to allow me to host games on my own connection. And that rubs me the wrong way.

Actually its up to the developer to decide wether to use servers or p2p. So there's a mix between them depending on what game your playing online.

I'm well aware that developers can implement dedicated servers, as in the larger 50-player Frontlines: Fuels of War servers. But it's still not Microsoft providing them, it's the publisher/developer who has to provide them (so Frontlines servers are provided by THQ).

Lets be honest. It is not a lot of money but a bit expensive anyway ...

I'm a bit mad with the fact that XBL doesn't deliver the same service in every countries.

Since I don't have netflix available, I should pay less.

NB: Even if PSN is free, it is a f*cking joke compared to XBL.

i get 12month XBL cards from Amazon for like 38 bucks. and a year is really long too, so paying around 50 bucks is no big deal for me.
