xbox 360 was overtracked by 200k and it just got adjusted down. It definetly wasn't that big of a gap ever.

How do you guys know wether console sales were over-or-undertracked?

Actually a few months back adjustments put the 360 lead over the PS3 below 8 Million. So it's only recently that the lead has gone back over 8 million. Hence 360 lead (on VGC) grew then shrunk and has now grown (is growing) again.

The PS3 and 360 have sold almost identical sales during 2009 averaging around 100k sales each per week. So ioi has made quite a few adjustments over the year to make the site more interesting. We are all kept in suspense waiting to see what happens.
