Is anyone at or going to be at Quakecon this week?

I'll be up there on Saturday since it's a while 15 minutes from me.

Surprised it still exists.

What are people exactly doing at this event usually?
And is it only about id's games?

Id games, lan Gaming, there are exhibitor booths showing off usually PC tech, some game demos, and just other stuff.

It looks like there will also be some Rock Band and Wii gaming there along with some fighting games. Even if you don't like Quake or Id games it's usually a good time. I'll be there for the Bawl's chugging contest, though won't participate.

Great hopefully ID will say more about Rage.

It's unconfirmed at this point, but it looks like Doom II is finally hitting XBLA. With Doom on XBLA being arguably the best version available, I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do with the sequel.

Hopefully they bundle in the Master Levels.

Sux to live so far away from the US.

I keep forgetting that Bethesda will be there, I just never associate the two.
