Well, this is a good example why we should be suspicious of crazy numbers, no matter the source. A (360 > DS+DSi >> PS3=Wii) turnaround is not something that would come out quietly after going on for 6 months in the 2nd (or 3rd?) largest vg market.

Excellent news! VGC is more accurate than Charttrack confimed? People should have more faith in ioi. Seems like he was right after all. He was positive he was right at the time but after Charttrack "confirmed" the #s he was forced to change them. Shame. He will have to change them back again. More work for him even though he was right in the first place. Next time there is any confusion maybe Charttrack should check with VGC to clear it up! Let's hear it for ioi!

these numbers make much more sense. The UK market shrunk something like 50% YOY before the adjusted wii numbers.

By those numbers, Wii should get an adjustment upwards of 500k then?

 No since the numbers never got adjusted down when this first came out...

I seem to remember the Wii getting a small adjustment downwards. could be wrong though. Perhaps it just lost market share because of a Xbox360 adjustment upwards.

Yeah common sense told me that those old numbers were not correct.

I've got common sense and logic. You think it is possible that 360 outsold DS at a time when DSi got released? I would be suprised if 360 ever outsold DS in any month let alone being ahead after 6 months.
