I'm waiting to go online when SSBB comes out... when that happens I'll probably contribute to the VC sales hehe.

i only have 7.....though if 10 million Wiis have 7 million downloads then 7 for one person is ten times the average.

i wonder what the average number of VC titles is if you take out people with 0?

I think many people feel this way. Once compelling games get everone to hook their Wii up online the real flood of VC purchases will begin. I bought F-Zero one evening becasue I was bored and the price was right, even though I still have a working copy of the game. Once people are online they too can enjoy impulse buys at home. 

 



Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

The cool club is restricted to people who have 22. You guessed it, that's how many VC games I own.

You barely made the cut. Welcome to the club!!! If we owned the exact same titles....then we'd be in the freak club.

You do realize that is just your opinion.  Not everyone plays them for 10 minutes and then loses interest.  Plenty of us highly enjoy the Virtual Console.  And also, the Virtual Console is only for older previously released games.  The downloadable new games will be on WiiWare when it comes out.

What thesaurus are you looking at? Not all "old" games are classics. Not all classics are "simplistic" and a classic can't be "nostalgia inducing" if you've never played it.

There are games where I have said "Yeah, not quite as good as I remember." Those are not classics. Games like Super Mario Bros., Metroid and even Ms. Pac-man are just as good as I remember.
