Forums - Nintendo - Yahtzee Reviews The Conduit

I still love Conduit, but this review was pretty much spot on. The sound design isn't great, the level design isn't great. The only thing I disagree with are his thoughts on controls.

Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.

He talks too fast.

That's almost the whole point of his reviews. If he didn't talk as fast, it probably wouldn't be as funny now would it?

Honestly, I never really liked much of Yahtzee's reviews. I never understood how hearing some guy talk really fast is funny.

It was cute if predictable. However he was so completely wrong on so many of the points he hammers on (you can turn off screen, can look up no problem, remap motion, etc) that one wonders if he even bothered to play the game for more than an hour.

he probably played it with the default control scheme, which is how most people play it anyways, also reviewers have to play it with the default controls as that's what the developers have chosen to set as default, although usually they make a comment in regards to the controls being customisable.

it's not how fast he speaks but what he says that makes his reviews funny.

Best Yahtzee review ever.

Do you need someone to explain the term "Zero Punctuation" to you?

Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience
